Charging the FT-60 with the desktop cradle

Tip Klamberg All Messages By This Member #17907 I think I may have a problem with the charging cradle for the HT. I placed my FT-60 into the charger cradle to bring it back up to full charge. ?The yellow/green/orange light will not come on during or after the charge. ?Furthermore, it appears that the voltage level did not rise after an overnight ?(8 hour) charge. John Clark All Messages By This Member #17922 开云体育 I have had that issue in a couple of cases. 1. Did not get the radio in the slots properly lined up (its a tight fit). 2. Went through the motions of charging, but got no charge - unplugged the charger - and went through the charge process again. It took 2nd time. [email protected] #17926 The charging cradle is not very good. It will show charging for a brief time when it is in fact not seated well. The battery/radio?must be lined up on the tracks?in the charger for all?the contacts to mate, and there no?"slop" in the setup. Once everything is seated,?it isn't going to come apart unless you want it to. I've put the radio or just a?battery in the charger. Clint Bradford All Messages By This Member #17928 It works perfectly, providing about 750 discharge/charge cycles for us. Even my Motorola drop-in chargers need to be inserted properly to charge ... It is a great value of a radio, and with this intelligent charger now included at no added charge (pun intended), it's a wonderful rig.
