You might try one of those silicone charity bracelets.
Usually, though, I just route the cable under the belt clip.
You may find that some third party mike accesories have the pin alittlr too long

The one I bought was delivered with a strain relief that fit over the antenna. Then you routed the speaker mike cable through it which worked well for me as long as I felt the solid tactile feedback

I have tried them all over the years. I shave the plug to get it to sit deep, but if I don't place a band around the radio it will pop out and key the radio.
