Hi John,
Try a software RESET. See P64 of the manual "Reset Procedures".
There are 4 levels.
I would try F1 first. This resets all Settings to Factory Default.
Otherwise, try F4. This clears everything, including Settings,
Memories and Banks.

Cannot turn off transmit saver mode even with menu item 53
turned off the save icon and continuously flashes during
