Re: Losing My Mind

The FT-60R has advanced features that “simplify” operation. The problem—and it’s a nice problem to have—is that is takes some real work to learn them all and frequent use to remember the steps!

It took me a long time to discover, or maybe rediscover, that the radio will automatically store repeaters (page 48 - Smart Search) and subaudible tones (page 24 - Tone Search Scanning) if I tell it to do so.

Cheat sheets are a great gift to us FT-60R users. Thanks.

Jeff - EVERYTHING you need to know is in that 84-page manua to manually program your HT.

BUT - It sure isn't logically presented, and on pages 1, 2, and 3 ...

That's why I - and others - have created "cheat sheets" for fellow hams. Mine digests those 84 pages?
into one-half of one page ...

PLEASE KNOW that the FT-60R is a great HT. And once you get yours re-set and programmed manually?
with a couple local systems, you WILL derive pleasure from it!
