Re: Programming with Commander

My windows 10 computer will periodically change comports for unknown reasons, which confuses the FT Commander. Apparently, this is all part of the computer's strategy to keep me from falling asleep at the keyboard. ?

Hi

Go to Control Panel then select Device Manager
Look down the list for Ports (COM & LPT)
Extend this list and this will show all your ports in use. If you remove the USB cable then connect again you should see which port you are connecting too.

Hope this helps
