Re: programming

I purchased a USB programming cable from an Ebay seller for $8.89 and then downloaded the Commander software. Made it a snap to program the radio. I use it primarily as a scanner and have a mix of public service, military air and civilian air freqs as well as about 5 local repeaters. Using the software made it easy to program freqs and PL tones as well as change modes.
