Do you also need a watt meter and or combo SWR/reflected meter? Using just a line tuner is nearly impossible without an SWR bridge.

They are both supposed to be there. One is s simple RF ground. The electrolytic cap is “grounded” through the lamp bulb. But it is wired with the positive lead grounded through the bulb. Look at

Hello group, I have an FT-101EE (1976 vintage I believe) I have noticed the capacitor in the C103 position is a 1000uf 25v, whereas the schematic calls for a .047uf to be there.? Schematic also
