FTdx-10 installation of USB driver

I received the RT Systems programming software, reset the radio & downloaded the driver files from Yaesu. Without help from someone who either knows how to install this I'm hitting PAUSE. My Dell is W10. I called their tech support so I will wait for a return call.. If anyone has gone through this, please let me know.

Attached are the USB driver files I downloaded as a screenshot.

I have not gone through this. In case you don't get any answers here, try the
Fox Tango group, and both of the FTdx-10 groups.

What does the first text file say? Is there information on Yaesu's site where it
gives directions for installation? I ask because it's easy to find on the Icom
site for the Icom Silicon Labs USB driver.

Since you don't have file extensions turned on in your file explorer, I can't
tell what the other files are since the extensions are hidden.

If it gives directions inside the first text file (the other one looks like a
license agreement), then you're home free (almost). You should be able to open
that file in Windows Notepad (or download Notepad++ as a great replacement for
Notepad).

For the Icom installation, you install the driver first, and only then connect
the radio. That's likely how this one works, and I would not be surprised if
it's not the same driver.

I found this. It downloads a PDF with Yaesu's directions on installing the
driver:

Don, thanks for the Yaesu info. It just so happens I received got an IC 7300, only, the one I’ve got doesn’t have the “mini-usb” and I’ve been having trouble getting the USB frisbee on to a SD card and then into the Radio. If you know the step by step procedure, please let me know. Also, I have a dIfficult time getting the ADOBE “free” reader downloaded. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations about that.
Thanks, Mike KM4FWT

I don't. I was just providing Yaesu's instructions with that link.

I'm not sure what sort of trouble you are having, but this is the link to the
Adobe version. Some of the simpler free PDF readers don't work on password
protected PDFs that need to connect and verify through a remote site, like a
bank statement would need to do.

Here's the one for Adobe. Before downloading, UNCHECK the add-on they will
otherwise include for McAfee AV products:

This comes with a 14 day trial of the pro version, but I believe it's free if
you don't upgrade.

One of the above should work for you.

?

SCU-17 DRIVER LOCATION ON YAESU WEBSITE

I've already programmed the 14 channels I plan to use so I'm not going to waste more time on the RT software.
