Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
There is a folder on this site where you can find almost all the DK
firmware.
Just log onto this site and look for it :)
Many Thanks

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
Thanks will do! It seems that my dr5013 V1.1.0 firmware is corrupted though , hence the USB connection issue. Do you know of a site I can download a new from , as Digikeijs is no more? (I have

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
If all you need is an auto reverse with no feedback then you can get something like the Block Signalling Auto reverser for a lot less than a LK200. There are some available that are cheaper.

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
You are right again about the LK 200 For my loop though I only need a module with short sensing capabilities so maybe the DR5013 is an overkill

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
The LK200 is an old Lenz module and that doesn¡¯t provide any feedback at all, whereas the DR5013 is a newer device and provides feedback over Loconet therefore you are not comparing apple with

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
Initially I thought so too but who do I reconcile the finding that whe I use a different reverse loop module (Lenz LK 200) I have no issues at all? . I know that buying another LK 200(not

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
The message you suggest is not a short circuit message, it is a logic message from RocRail that suggests to me that you have the block lengths, speed profile, or even block connections wrong ¨C but

Thanks so much Iain for your input
I modified my setting according to your suggestions with no success. Obviously you are correct it is indeed the CS that is detecting the short. My question is

Re: DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
I have a DR5013 used in the way you suggest (but with a Z21 and iTrain) and suffer none of the issues you describe. For the record and correctness it is not RocRail that is detecting the short

DR-5013 set-up and Rocrail
I'm using the DR5013 short detection capabilities to manage a "simple" reverse loop .? Following? the manual's instructions? I didn't modify any of the factory settings (no value assigned to S0-S3

Re: Difficulty acquiring locomotives with a Duplex throttle
I just upgraded to the UR93 as the UR92 had difficulties acquiring locos with the YD7001. Actually the main problem wasn't acquiring locos as much as it was consisting them. Now that I have upgraded

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
For info
2 x 220 micro farads worked, no buzz.
I still don¡¯t understand why a standard LED works from the output of the DR 4018 but a flashing one doesn¡¯t. Pity because it means lots of extra

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
Thanks Iain. I am using a separate power supply which I thought was stabilised but probably isn¡¯t. I will experiment with a small capacitor and see if that works.

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
Robin
How are you powering the DR4018? If you are using DCC then you will have
rectified DCC as the output and what you are hearing is the ripple from
that rectified voltage.
A small capacitor

Re: Unable to operate a flashing LED with DR4018
I posted a question earlier regarding the DR4018 not being able to operate a tiny LED with built in flasher, it operates a normal LED with no problems. The recommendation was to use a small relay

Re: Issues with DR5033s with upgraded DR5000 w/YD9401 module
Except for 1 thing.
Karst, the developer, emphatically states below that you should not be using common power supplies for HBridge components.
I know people have stated that it works and it obviously

Re: Issues with DR5033s with upgraded DR5000 w/YD9401 module
Jim,
Hover your mouse over the IB box. It says "The ID with which the YD7001 reports itself in Slot 0".
Sounds like I would never need to know it unless I was doing logging analysis.

Re: Issues with DR5033s with upgraded DR5000 w/YD9401 module
Thanks Oldngrey,
I found that one of the DR5033 was not set properly and matched it to the other 3 units. Looking at the Expert tab, I am wondering what this setting should be? IB or YD? And what
