Re: DR4018
开云体育Well I’ve no idea if it’ll take it as the signal leds aren’t on, this is why I’m asking for help as it doesn’t mention that in the manual. I have the address on the layout on the z21 app ready to go.Regards Andy On 23 Jun 2019, at 21:35, James <James@...> wrote:

Hi, need help with programming cv47 on a dr4018, I’ve followed the instructions in the manual for using the Z21 app and set up a dummy loco with address 9999, added the F0 function and then pressed the button on the 4018 got a steady red light, entered the address 9999, cv47 and set CV to 2 as I’m using it for signals, press the button to turn red light off on the 4018 but nothing happens, signals aren’t coming on for me to set them. Re: New file uploaded to [email protected]
The next document will explain what you want.?
The first Document was only suppose to clean up the grammar, translation and errors, not to change or add content. The next document will be in more detail and will be called "Advanced". It will show how to use JMRI Decoder Pro to make changes easier and faster. I have 2 examples, both show how to split the DR4018 into 2 and 3 separate functions. I have made the first draft of this document and sent it to Ryan for feedback last night. if anyone else wants to help with document content and checking let me know. Also if you have any specific setups that will help make it better. Would like to have a few users with input. Dennis |

Thanks for the sight of the preliminary version. The section which in my opinion needs more explanation is paras 6 and 7 i.e. how to reprogram the 4018 outputs to operate different types of accessories. I understand how to program with presets, and have successfully done so. But how does one achieve the first para 6 example of 6 different presets, for example? Maybe a couple of programming examples with explanatory values? many thanks Chris On 27/05/2019 16:48, [email protected] Notification wrote:

There will be 2 new documents available so on the DR4018 .Hi Dennis Thanks for the info. The advanced document will be very welcome - there are some big gaps in the present info in terms of how to program individual outputs. Look forward to seeing it in due course! -- Chris |
New DR4018 Documents soon.
There will be 2 new documents available so on the DR4018 .
These documents will be in English only for the US market. Documents will have a USA flag instead of a British flag in the upper right hand corner. These documents are formatted to US Letter paper size. The first one is the DR4018 manual with grammar and translation corrections. The second document will be a DR4018 (Advanced) with more detail and all types on information on how to change or reconfigure individual outputs, etc. The second documents also be using JMRI Decoder Pro for making your changes on the DR4018.
