Re: Club layout controlled by two chomebooks via z21 app
You may have too many devices connected. The actual Roco z/Z21 can only handle 8 connections reliably and IIRC the DR5000 is fewer.

Re: DR5033 and YD6016LN-CS combo
I find it interesting that you have to start JMRI first as I have always found the opposite.

Re: DR5033 and YD6016LN-CS combo
To finalize the story: it now all works.
I got JMRI to populate the sensor table as I switched each turnout and as I drove a loco along each track.

Wow! ?Thats pretty good service to replace all of them for you, I didn¡¯t realise it was a known issue. ?I have about 20 of them and some or all of them lose their address at regular intervals.

Re: Track Snubbers positioning
I accept you don¡¯t use Railcom but by default it is switched on with a DR5000 and is therefore present in the DCC signal.
Did you switch it off?

DCC Concepts stuff is very sensitive to Railcom when it present though snubbers seems to reduce the issues, the only real ¡®cure¡¯ is to switch off Railcom (and that is what they will tell you to

Earlier (over 2 years ago) Digital IPs had this issue. DCC Concepts sent me a box of newer ones to replace them.

Each DR5033 and the YD7001 have their own 15v power supply that came with the module.

Useful because one of my concerns was that it simply wasn't a valid design. Here's why:
