I am quite happy with the free Engine Driver on a $35 7 inch Android tablet as a guest device. I also have a cheap simless cell phone and an 8 inch tablet. 8 inches is a bit too much but good for the visually impaired. Most other people use phones but some come with their own throttles. I use my own phone. I am not using the command station but use a raspberry pi running JMRI. The WiThrottle on the Pi uses the RPi 5 wifi for a guest access and the home wifi for my devices. It picks up the roster and switch files so that throttles running EngineDriver can present listed selections to operators.
