Greetings All, I have returned from my holiday and think I have followed your advice Karst. I have found the ip address of the YD7001. 192.168.0.94, set that in the Track Go/Stop tab, entered the ip, subnet mask, and Default Gateway into Windows 10 Ethernet settings. Ensured the YD LAN settings in the YD are STATIC, connected track and a bright yellow Ethernet cable and bubkiss, zip, naught, nothing. So I loaded the ip address into Traincontroller 10 Gold, it told me to consult a computer expert. Well here I am folks. I will post some pics to show the setup. I humbly ask for assistance please.
