I used the PL11 motors in my fiddle yard but they were just too unreliable, it¡¯s not the 4018, I have 3 of them and they all work fine, I ended up swapping the Pl11s for the surface mount motors offered by Rails of sheffield under their Rails connect brand, they¡¯re made in conjunction with DCC concepts and are miles better than the pl11s, the only thing I had to do was get a friend with a 3d printer to make some spacers to fit the throwing arm hole as it¡¯s one size fits all, so that makes it too big for Peco N gauge points. ?Hope this helps
