I'm not sure how many is too many either.? I currently have 8 connected on mine.??
What happens is when you click on the booster tab it interrogates the boosters for a report.? When they all report back at the same time this locks up the LocoNet therefore as you found its best not to click on it.??
I bet someone could write a script that interrogates them one at a time but like you said the info there is minimal.? We run large consist with sound for hours with no issues as to load or temperature.??
