Zircon coexisting with florescent orange sodalite will give yellow florescense
This zircon florescense is typically a broad yellow band at 575 nm
There??is a slope in this region with both 405 nm and 365 UV excitation?
There are florescent lines from 600 to 700 nm spectrum?
No ones??knows with certainty what is causing this lines besides the possibility of REEs?
Work with synthetic sodalite indicates that it is the presence of sulfur as a polysulfide which is responsible for the fluorescence of sodalite.
Pics of florescent close ups spectrum of 405 nm and 365 excitation and article?
Thanks?
