Hello Clive, there are a few out there I think in Goolwa,? everybody
is just out there flying and I don't get much contact with them

There have been 100 hp engines fitted, no problems but they climb
like crazy!
Has anyone tried putting a 912uls (100hp) rotax on a hanuman? I've
got the possibility of acquiring a nice one, but I didn't know if
anyone had used the 100hp 912 or only the 80hp.

Ummm..Michael is excellent!? He provided springs for my Standard from order to delivery to Canada in 1 week!? He is NOT to blame, excellent service and delivery...
If X-Air's Michael Coates responded to parts requests maybe a lot more of us would still be enjoying our S models. So frustrating over a 4 year period of ownership.?

I have had a lot of enquiry recently from various X-Air owners regarding several new parts suppliers, mainly in India working in opposition to the factory. I have finally received full information about this from the X-Air factory and it follows...
Can you please give me additional information about what X-Air is doing with the rogue parts supplier/s from India ?
The Rogue suppliers are copy cats and have copied some of our old drawings or parts.? We are not sure what they supply and what material they use.?
We have never tested them.
There seems to be some confusion about who is supplying what, and on one of the Facebook websites it is saying that this rogue supplier is actually the X-Air factory itself selling as a third party. I would like to get this question answered please.
Nobody else other than us make the genuine X-Air Parts.
We don't have control over other websites who say so.
Saying that the parts are made by X-Air is a scam done by the rogue suppliers.
These guys don't spend time for R&D but just copy and use some cheaper raw material to make them.? Hence we presume they have a lot of time to do such scams to promote their own material.? Such scammers are on the increase these days in all fields, and they
are able to mislead customers through involvement in MultiMedia.
If the parts are coming from anybody except X-Air or published X-Air dealers then they are not genuine parts, they are counterfeit parts, and we share your same concerns about safety, compatibility and the materials they are using.

I do reply to any requests....?? the problem I have, like most of
the other dealers is getting the information from the factory, they
take some time to reply to any messages.
When it comes to you, doing a search of my inbox I cannot see any
messages from you whatsoever so I don't really have any idea.....??

We have never tested them.
There seems to be some confusion about who is supplying what, and on one of the Facebook websites it is saying that this rogue supplier is actually the X-Air factory itself selling as a third party. I would like to get this question answered please.
Nobody else other than us make the genuine X-Air Parts.
We don't have control over other websites who say so.
Saying that the parts are made by X-Air is a scam done by the rogue suppliers.
These guys don't spend time for R&D but just copy and use some cheaper raw material to make them.? Hence we presume they have a lot of time to do such scams to promote their own material.? Such scammers are on the increase these days in all fields, and they
are able to mislead customers through involvement in MultiMedia.

WHERE CAN IT GET NEW FABRIC AND WHERE CAN I GET PARTS FOR MY X-AIR HANUMAN ? HAVING TROUBLE GETTING PARTS ?

Hi,
I am currently flying a 2008 H. Mine has a 2200 Jab up front, so I’ll let more experienced Rotax drivers advise re the engine. If the airframe has always been hangared, then the frame should be sound, but it’s easy to take a peek in the fuselage and wings to check. ?In the UK we have had some engine mount cracking around the welds, but again, that was probably the Jab mount.
Two types of fabric coverings were available, one was Mylar, which has a glossy covering with visible lines woven in it every 1/2 inch or so and the other was Dacron (I think) which has a matt finish. ?I have Mylar and it has always been hangared and is still in almost new condition with more hours on it than the one you’re looking at. ?The thing to check on the fabric, is the stitching - make sure it’s all in good condition and not disintegrating. For the fabric there is a Betts Test to check the actual strength of the fabric - google will be your friend here. ?New sails are available from 3rd parties, depending on which continent your on.
These planes are easy to look after, fly and maintain - there’s not much that’s hidden away!

hi there
i am about to make an offer on 2009 xair H with the Rotax 582 engine
it has oboit 120 hours, the engine was overhauled 3 years ago(5-year overhaul)
it has been in storage in a hanger and winterised for the last 2 and a half years....
What should i be on look out for during the pre-buy inspection? my concern is that it didn't fly much...
what about the wing coverings? it has been hangered all its life should it still be rerplaced ?
any advice is welcome !!
