Ultralight Sails Canada (Quebec ) provides sails for the XAir. They say if sails are faded and dull and if you can break stitching thread by pulling up with a toothpick then sails should be replaced.

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft XAir standard licensing

Here in the US,

? ?Back in the day, a person could get an Experimental Aircraft registration packet from the EAA. ?I haven't been in need of one in 15 years, so I do not know if they are still available. ?It comes with all the forms, placards and written instructions on how to get your plane registered and inspected.

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft XAir standard licensing

What is the category that the XAir standard is licensed under? ? ? ?Illegal ultralight type aircraft unless registered EAB, ELSA, or ?Experimental Exhibition Amateur Built in the US.
Where is the best place to start gathering information on the licensing process. ? ? ? FAA in the US

The previous owner had applied for The N number that is still active but never went through the completed registration process. I do have a copy of the bill of sale from the manufacturer and the previous owner. I have completely taken the aircraft apart and I am reassembling with new tires, control cables, fuel lines, sails, certified rebuilt 618 Rotax and a host of other things. So basically it is a rebuilt aircraft. Any information or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone have a left hand throttle for the xair s. The xair I just purchased the previous owner had cut it off because he thought it was in the way on the door. Also interested in two of the wooden flight control handles.

Yes it a hanuman I fly you do need to replace axle stub
I have the one piece alloy wheels 6" wide with 6 wide tyres fitted. There are a couple of bits that let the kit down but on the whole it is a good setup?

I fly a XAIR H here in the USA and hearing Black Max brakes which are disc type was wondering if they or any disc brakes are being used. The go cart brakes work but seems an upgrade will require axle improvement at the least. I'm also curious if a wider wheel tire is being used.

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft xair s brake pads

Im really not sure. I know the ones on the right side are worn out and have to be replaced. They are adjusted all the way out and no brake on that side
