I
live in India, and till a couple of years
ago, used to fly on two X-Air with Jabiru
2200. I didn't have any issues with the
engine, but others had had atleast one each
of engine out landings on both of them.
In
one instance, the aircraft was overhead, so
could recover on the airfield comfortably.
In the other instance, it happened during
the climbout after take off, and the
aircraft had to be put down in a field
adjacent to the airport.? No damages to the
airplane or pilots in either of the case.?
