Set WSJT-X communications to be for an Icom IC-7100. XIegu uses the Icom CI-V communications protocol.? But only partially!? You can control frequency, mode, TX/RX and maybe a few other things, but

Are you using minicom or something on Linux?? Not going back to charge/standby is typical unless you use the Teraterm xmodem application to load firmware. Good luck! Kevin W2NC

Could this be another "failed firmware flash" case (initially by the previous owner)? Other posters here have advised that the flashing process can be very sensitive to both the Serial-TTL interface

I have also run a USB sound card dongle but I have to run a TRRS cable from that to a now unavailable interface & homebrew connector to the non-Yaesu standard Xiegu data jack. Works fine on FT8.
