I never pursued using data with this rig, but now I am ready to try as I have just started playing around with FT8 on my Yaesue FT991A. I use a Mac and the data software I'm using is WSJT-x.?
so I attempted to connect my X-5105 to the Mac and run the WSJ-x software. In the config setting for rig control, there is a drop down menu to choose your rig. there are many rigs listed, including the G90, X108G, X6100, but no X5105.?
is any one using the WSJ-x with the X5105? Does the X5105 have any rig control capabilities or does it need to be done manually??
Not sure where to start but I'm going to try to connect again and see if I can play with drivers and get some signals recieved and decoded for starts.
