Re: Any FirmWare updates in the future?
Like many Xiegu devices I am willing to bet the 5105 is abandoned, like the GSOC and probably G90 and 6100. They crank out new radios without finishing previous models. Nick Marsh WB4SQI

Any FirmWare updates in the future?
Saw recent that there¡¯s new FW for the G90 and the IC-705. My G90¡¯s in the hands of a person with more steady paws pending a minor repair; the ¡®705 I am loathe to touch ¡®cause, well, I like it

Re: Using your Xiego X5105 as an Antenna Analyzer
This SWR plot feature on the X5105 actually works pretty well. I used this feature just last week to retune my portable 6m magloop ( www.vhfloop.com ( http://www.vhfloops.com ) ) for SSB operation (it

Using your Xiego X5105 as an Antenna Analyzer
See https://www.huyettm.net/x5105-antenna-analyzer.html for a short note about another way to use the X5105. It does appear to show a much earlier version of the firmware - my X5105 antenna analyzer

Re: Fixing Blown Power Amplifier?
That's the outfit I purchased the radio from, but I'm about 18 months post-purchase. I guess I can give them a shout and see what happens.

Re: Fixing Blown Power Amplifier?
I don't. I'm not much of an electronics guy, so I'm totally clueless. I just was making a guess based on some google-fu. I wouldn't know what specifically to look for once I start tearing into it.

Also, it would be worth checking with Support at Radioddity, a Xiegu dealer.? They have a guy who seems quite familiar with the X5105 and its troubles. -------- Doug, K8RFT
