Re: CTCSS tone
Andy, Raddiodity will probably send that on to the manufacturer. However, here is where you can go to post it with the manufacturer directly. Have google translate turned on in your browser.

Re: CTCSS tone
Thanks for looking Brian. ?It¡¯s a shame as it looks to be a later introduced feature that just got overlooked and removed somehow when moving to v3 of the firmware. ?I¡¯m unsure how to contact

Re: CTCSS tone
I went through all the menus and could not find an option for activating FM tones. Looks like that will have to go to the Xiegu customer support. Brian K0FBS -- Brian K0FBS

Re: X5105 vs G90
I don't use the notch filter, but the NR works quite well.? As it does on other radios, it does make the audio sound like it's coming through water - a bit "burbly".? It does definitely make a

Re: X5105 vs G90
Hi Karen, Sorry to hear the G90 is not meeting your needs. The X5105 does have NR & Notch filters. I do not do CW so I can only speak to SSB. I find they work as well as most every other radio I use.

X5105 vs G90
Hi all, I recently got the G90, and am disappointed with lack of NR and notch filter. I understand that the X5105 has both? is that right, and do they work well? I am a CW only operator. 73, Karen

Re: Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
I very much doubt that !! In computers since 1961, all makes, all O.S's (even wrote a few!)? Apple is a closed system !! Show me the data !!

Re: Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
I had (have) the same trouble.? I haven't found a solution, either, and just gave up.? I've tried/used both HDSDR and SDR#.? I've installed CubicSDR too, but I think I had trouble trying to use it

Re: Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
From what I've read online, and heard from my brother-in-law (who does write some Apple software), it is quite difficult to get 'homebrew' software tested and approved for use on Apples, and listed in

Re: Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
Yes, Mike it does suck how we are forced to use Windows so often.? I would much rather use OS-X -- Brian K0FBS

I can¡¯t let this all go by without a comment. I read the instructions for the RTL-SDR. Windows: Twenty plus pages of complicated stuff followed by another ten pages of what to try when the whole

Re: Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
Hi Doug, Great news on the RTL-SDR. I have one and it gets very hot as well. I am still struggling with the correct IF setting in HDSDR so the radio and SDR display show the same frequencies What SDR

Panadapter - RTL-SDR dongle
I recently tried my new RTL-SDR Nano 3 "dongle" connected to the I.F. output of my X5105.? It worked out nicely, and I could see at least 1 mHz of bandwidth.? I was looking at the AM Broadcast Band

Re: External amp keying
I can¡¯t tell from the schematic just how rapidly that circuit will respond. It all looks fairly low impedance and there are no large capacitors to give any big hang times. I think you might have to
