I don't use the notch filter, but the NR works quite well.? As it does on other radios, it does make the audio sound like it's coming through water - a bit "burbly".? It does definitely make a difference and reduces the continuous hissy white noise by a lot.? It has an adjustment to set the amount of reduction, with reference or level numbers from 1 to 50.? I don't hear a very big difference in the noise reduction at the different level settings, though.? (That's not a complaint - it does reduce the noise a lot.)
Maybe a group member has a convenient way to make a short sound recording of the noise while switching the NR on and off.? That could be posted in the Files section, for others to refer to later.
