OK, let's put it this way:
What is the voltage on the 8 pin ACC jack PTT terminal when the radio is in receive mode?
What is the voltage on the 8 pin ACC jack PTT terminal when the radio is in Transmit mode?
What is the voltage on the CE19 PTT terminal when the radio is in receive mode?
What is the voltage on the CE19 PTT terminal when the radio is in Transmit mode?
Also, I meant that maybe what you need is an optoisolator to use instead of the CE-19.
The CE-19 is pretty small, though.? You could use double-sided tape and stick it to the back of the radio.
