That solved it. I'll have to see what's
involved in coming up with something smaller just for ptt. I don't
want to have to pack the CE-19 and extra cabling around.
Can't be much to it.

You may need the CE-19 expansion interface.? It has an 'isolating'
stage in it that might also be an inverter (inverting the logic
level).? Unfortunately, details of the CE-19 seem to be scarce.
