Brian, I did what you indicate, apparently it did a reset, but no, all the configuration that I had done was still there, even my callsign, and yes, I downloaded the two manuals.
Doug, FW and manual I downloaded from Radioditty (I received a Chinese manual with the equipment).
Dan, I also thought it had a nice paperweight, as it showed only 13 menus I thought it was a FW problem, I downloaded the most recent one, I tried to update with the included cable, it showed that there was communication (c), but then it got stuck and died, I tried with different computers and it only went up to [c], finally an old Thikpad did the job and got my equipment back.
But there's something I don't like ... it's noisy; Today I went to the mountain and it was very noisy, I put a dummy load and it gives me a lot of noise ..., that's why I want to do a hard-reset.
