Be VERY careful doing any reset.? There is a procedure to remove the operating system / firmware prior to installing new firmware.? As best I can tell, this operation 'bricks' the radio until you either reinstall the old firmware or continue to install the new firmware.? I thought I had 'killed' my radio when I was attempting to install the new firmware.? I was successful on my second attempt.
