? ?Yeah, I pretty much like most of Costner's Western flicks. But he CAN get pretty Preachy & Bleeding Heart. Especially, with the Injuns stuff. Which is what has turned me off to rewatching his DANCES WITH WOLVES. Watched it once, and then gave it a second run years later hoping that I had just been "In A Mood" or something. . . . . Nope. = Obviously done by a RICH HollyWeirder who only "VISITS" em and doesn't have to LIVE with them. = Way Too Much FANTASY trying to be REALITY. . . . . Too Bad, because it WAS a pretty good movie other than that.?
? ?As to his = I think that I'll wait until ALL THREE flicks are out for FREE. --- From what I've seen and read, I ain't sure what is just HollyWeird Promotion and what is ACTUAL criticism (not that I give a damn about what anybody says.) The one thing that EVERYBODY seems to agree on is that it's LOOOOOOOONG and dragged out. Sort of a Western Wannabe LORD OF THE RINGS, but without a classic series of well-loved books to back it up. = Sounds like it just might become his or that George RR Martin Disappoint Em - Will Never Get Finished - if he ain't careful. = You can only ride on your NAME just so far. (Not that that HACK Martin ever had anything in the bank as far as I was ever concerned! = That's what happens when folks have been READING since The PULPS! But it's amazing how you can bedazzle the Zombies with nothing but CGI these days!!!? LOL)?

? ?I was watching the part of the LD series last night and I SWEAR that I've READ this story in ANOTHER BOOK!!! The only thing actually different was that book was about Pershing's Punitive Expedition hunting Pancho Villa. So, a different time period. But the WHOLE STORY was the very same!!! = Young inexperienced recruits tramping through the desert and trying to stay alive while fighting the Mexicans and Buffalo Hump and his Injuns. All under poor brASS HAT leadership. No love interests or any womenfolk at all. But even to them getting captured by the Mex army and marched across miles of desert with only their old sergeant keeping them alive. = I REALLY LIKED that book and even had it on CD!!! . . . . I just can't remember the darn title or author!!!!!!!!!! === FIGURES! Right???? LOL?
