Excelsior Supply Company
I am very interested in the W&W D-9 catalog. I own one and would like to look up accessories that were available. Sandra W. Haak

Excelsior Supply was a supply company for all manner of items. It started with sewing machines and branched out. This catalog does not have accessories.? However, the Singer 1919 parts list does have them.? Accessories for the Singer 9w1 and 9w7 will work on the W&W because they are W&W. One accessory I have not been able to locate or find an image of is the embroidery attachment.? There is a very bad image of it in the 1919 parts list. W&W attachments are available on Ebay and elsewhere.? Shop around and some people want "gold" for them.? They are not that rare or unique. Bill, I'm not sure if you're only looking for Singer embroidery attachments, but I have a 2-thread embroidery attachment that was made by the Sackett Mfg Co for a Wheeler Wilson machine.? I think it was advertised as The Peerless and looks identical to Singer's 2-thread embroidery attachment. Ericka

Thanks all for your replies.? The embroidery attachment I am looking for is for the Singer 9w7 essentially a W&W D9.? It is illustrated, but very poorly, in the parts list I just put in the Files section of the board.? Part number 226301 and shown in Plate 11399.? The individual parts are also shown but it is a puzzle to reassemble them digitally. Singer made a similar one for later models which are used with the ever popular Model 221 Featherweight.?
