Re: D9, needs some work¡
Mine is really similar to this, same type of cabinet. I don't have pictures of the whole thing yet, but one of the throat piece. It looks like the number is 2998657

I found a copy in the files, I haven't read it yet. I'm deciding if I want
to print it out or not. But at least I"m on my way!

Re: Introduction
I bought a Wheeler and Wilson treadle and had it serviced by a shop. Now
I¡¯m in the process of learning to treadle.
Do you have a copy of the manual?

I am Suzann, and I rent an old farmhouse that has a D9 Wheeler and Wilson
treadle in it. I am hoping to be able to fix it up and get it running. My

Re: D9, needs some work¡
Some information I collected over the years is that Serial numbers 3,000,000 and above were manufactured by Singer.
as Singer purchased W&W in 1905, they continued to sell the machines marked as W&W

It is likely that your machine was built in 1902 plus or minus 1 year.

I haven't had a chance to look at your pictures, but they could be

I sent a message previous to the one about the wheels with the serial, a copy of the picture of the throat plate and a note that the last patent date listed on the throat plate is Aug 2nd 92.

Here¡¯s another photo of the throat plate:
It definitely says that it is a Wheeler & Wilson, last patent date listed appears to be Aug 2nd 92. It also clearly stated that is is a D9.

You may also want to try out a rubber treadle belt, I found a supplier on Etsy.
Also, if you¡¯ve not yet found a source for needles¡ I use size MY1014 needles in my WW9 and WW8. You can get these
