A couple of people have asked, so this is just a note so that everyone
knows the current list status...
Miller Fulks and Dean (went by "Daddy Dean" -- don't think I've ever
seen his surname) started this group in early 2013.? Everyone lost
touch with Dean a couple of years ago, and as we recently learned,
Miller is no longer with us.? (A few people who knew Dean looked for
him last year, to no avail.)
When I joined the list a couple of years ago I had a bit of trouble,
because Miller was used to letting Dean do the approvals, and so mine
had fallen through the cracks.? Miller and I both recognized that he
could use some help, so I volunteered as a moderator.? Soon after,
to make sure the list couldn't be "orphaned", Miller promoted me
to co-owner, and recruited Helen Howes as a further backup.
So now Helen and I are co-owners of the list.? It mostly runs itself,
other than approving new members.? (Well, other than the Photos
storage overflow thing.? Still working on that.)
And that's where we are.
