Introduction and awaiting my first Wheeler and Wilson

Hi all, I have been a vintage sewing machine addict for about 8 years (closing in on 90 machines at this point) but only joined this group recently before having acquired anything other than a Wheeler and Wilson accessory box (with no accessories). But fear not! A No. 9 is now on the way (as well as another accessory box WITH accessories). This is only a head acquired from the online auction site everybody loves to hate, but it appears to be relatively clean aside from some rust on various surfaces, which I believe will be easily cleaned up. Serial number is 215191 and it has the older bobbin case, not the latch one, and the U spool pin. The vendor actually provided very clean photos of the machine which is most appreciated. Under consideration is setting it up as a hand crank or treadling. I have a treadle base for my Singer 115 but it looks like the opening is too large for the W&W9, so I'm thinking that outfitting with a hand crank is the way to go.

Questions: are original hand cranks available (haven't seen any yet) or is there a way to adapt a generic hand crank to this machine. Or likewise is there a way to adapt the 115 treadle base, or other treadle bases, to this machine.
