Good morning all, I have 2 W&W D9's one, S/N 2527178, S/N on the throat plate, missing the correct bobbin cover.? and the other, S/N 2,xxx,xxx slightly higher than the other.? Interestingly the bobbin plate for this machine does not fit its earlier sister, this one has a bit of a lip on both sides under the bobbin plate and a spring screwed on the bottom to keep it in place. I also have another bobbin plate I got on ebay that is a few mm smaller with a similar spring riveted on the bottom that doesn't fit either.? I don't think I can bend the spring down far enough to catch under the thick edges of the bed.
