There are 3 plates below the needle. From left to right facing the machine,? the manual calls them the front slide plate, the needle plate and the back slide plate. The front slide plate covers the bobbin area. The back slide plate covers the inner workings, I think may be called the feed cams?
please explain.... what part is the 'back slide plate' on a no 8?
