Might want to also try the poor-man's carb rebuild. Put the bike on its centerstand, then fill the bowls with Chevron Techron, straight from the bottle and let it stand overnight before draining to

I've owned mine for 15 years , I drain the float bowls regularly [ put a small spray can cap under the outlet to catch the fuel ], it's amazing how much rubbish comes out ! Also I've set the mixture

Cylinder heat check is clever¡­ I would not of thought of that. ?I don¡¯t have an infrared thermometer but that may be something to think about!

The part you are asking about is the throttle position sensor. I¡¯m reasonably certain it only affects ignition timing. ?I¡¯d be surprised if it was the culprit, though it¡¯s not impossible. Was

It could be that the float or float needle valve has stuck when it fell over ? Try tapping the side of the float bowl gently with a plastic screwdriver handle , that MIGHT reset it ? hope you get it
