Re: Need Help w/ Petition

If anyone is wondering, the bike is a late '50's or
early '60's Panther 500cc or 600cc single known by many as 'Slopers'. They were
built in Cleckeaton in Yorkshire and basically stayed the same from about 1920
until the mid '60's. Not the fastest motorcycle ever made but?epitomised
the 'one beat per lamp-post' slow revving Brit single...

John, my MacAfee Site Advisor program has a big red flag against your site, indicating it is "very spammy," and advising against going there. That's why I haven't signed, I don't want spam and pop-ups afterwards.

NWC: Brits in hacks
开云体育Back in the 50s, during summer vacation, us kids
were allowed to stay up till all hours watching TV.
Back then, for some reason, most of the late night
movies were British imports. At least that was true in the San Francisco
area.
?
One movie that I'll never forget was about a man,
driving a motorcycle with a sidecar, who kidnaps a young girl so he can get
money to help his wife who had some medical problem.

Anyone ever see this movie?

Re: The new Buell - NWC
开云体育My first motorcycling memory was being in one of
these sidecars...along with mum, Aunty Dorothy, her son Andy, her baby daughter
and my little sister Mary....So just the 6 of us in the chair./..Uncle Bob rode
the Triumph T110, and dad rode pillion.. I can remember looking out through the
rain streaked side window at the blurred figure of my dad with the?pre-unit
Triumph lump hammering away jusrt in front of his leg!
?
There's a faded photo of us kids and the mums all
sitting in front of the sidecar...The sidecar was so big it looks like there's a
block of flats behind us!?

Matty,
I'm smiling as I type this...I was going to warn you against opening up that Buell link <G> Here then, just as a special balm for your retro soul, is a link to some quality pics of old and classic wheels - two, four, and more - by a very good photographer/lister from RealClassic.com that he took at a rally this weekend. Credit to Kevin Dean for his most eclectic slide show. The bikes that that the Brit & European press tend to refer to as retro bikes are such as my CB 1300 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 R Suzuki GS 1400 and the Yamaha XJR 1300

Re: Pipes and Jet Kit - Denver, Colorado
Three things though, first it should be really cheap to get OEM exhausts for your Harley, since no one ever kept them on (slight exageration), there should be tons of OEMs some where.
The second thing is, if you were not making an excessive amount of noise, you probably wouldn't get pulled over and be cited. If I lived in Denver though, I would actively support candidates for city council who would vote to repeal this arbutrary law..arbutrary as it doesn't cover any other type of vehicle..like the Honda Civics with the the loud on purpose pipes, or Tractor Trailers, which are loud in their stock configuration. City council elections are typically not hotly contested, and an organized campaign could change the face of the council. James Franklin 2411 Pine Summit DR.
