Couple of newbie questions.
pete7953
Hello everyone, just got my W650 a few weeks ago and a couple of issues
have arisen. probably been dealt with before but who knows. Handlebar Shake: when throttling back from 50+ or so mph, the handlebars give a wobble/shake at between 45-50mph, ok if you've got both hand on the handlebars, but if for some reason you don't, there is a noticeable shimmy until the speed drops to 40-45mph. Thought it mught have been down to a worn (very) rear tyre, but a new one has made no difference. Momentary cough: sometimes, the engine gives a 'cough'. It alwaqys recovers instantly and then won't happen again for the rest of the ride. Any suggestions for these issues, or are they all like it? Thanks Pete |

We're stuck on a 56k modem that rarely runs faster than 28k, I was thinking of going to Hughesnet as the costs are coming down. If so, I'd appreciate your opinion. ?? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThat is a bit unfair. the accessories I was
thinking of are things like panniers heated grips.. also options such as ABS
& traction control. I believe that the Norge comes in different versions
with different amounts of equipment. The standard GS is still well
equipped.
at least this way you don't have to pay for
equipment or options that you do not want. BTW The low seat option is free if
specified when ordering the bike.

Music Matty I just recently took a trip to the beach with my brother and we took myNice rig, Matty. I like the built-in ramp...makes it really easy to walk the bikes up. My wife works for Lowes and I've looked at those trailers before...can't beat it for the money. Anytime you and your brother feel like some mountain riding just come on down. Leave your car and trailer at my house and take off for a day or two (or three, etc)... It's a 5ft wide by 10ft in length with 2inch wood board planks for the floor...so I was able to sink in large eye bolts for tie downs on the floor aswell into the metal railing all along the sides for added hooks. The wheels are on 13inch rims so they are big and you can really roll with them without worring about burning up the bearings like on the small wheels that come with most bike trailers. It fits two bikes comfortably with added room behind for luggage storage and this is where I boxed it off on the sides with a removable center board for the bikes to roll on and off but the center board keeps everything from slidding forward. The trailer was around $800. US dollars and about $100. dollars or so in hardware. I bought the trailer at Lowes and as I said it is a far better equipped trailer than a $2000. plus bike trailer with small wheels and just for one bike really. Here are some pics below.. I always used to get positive comments on mine as well. You shouldn't be surprised about people knowing about Lawson as he is arguably one of the 3 best road racers the USA has ever produced.

BMW do not usually discount bikes but they often do deals on the extras. the problem is post season I will probably get less for my CB 1300 S
