Re: Luggage Rack and Left side carb needle WTD and other stuff
I checked the part number for the left needle with local dealership, which reports that this part is on Backorder with no availability date. I did send a message to twistedthrottle over the weekend,

Re: NWC: salty conditions - what to do
I have been told that the only thing to do is to keep washing off the bike, especially the aluminum bits & engine. The advice has come a little late for me, unfortunately. Ruari

NWC: Re: The best day off.
The wheelies do rule, but the day before another guy did try a stoppie, kinda. He went off the runway into the grass. That's not too bad, what was bad was that he tried to taxi BACK onto the runway,

NWC: salty conditions - what to do
What do those that ride in salt air near the ocean do about corrosion? Or on salted roads? Is there some protectant or preventive? How about cleaning up? Asking for a friend, I don't have this

Re: Corbin Gunfighter For Sale
Both the Gunfighter and Gunfighter&Lady are an improvement over the stock (2000) seat, and both are the same from the driver's seat. The stock seat felt too much like an ironing board with concrete

Re: The best day off.
Shoot, I've done that. Of course they wouldn't let me do the actual driving. And there were about 140 people in there with me. Cost about $500 every time I did it. And I had to wait in a lot of lines

Re: Blow-by mess
David I've seen that the hose is longer and the K&N tucked up higher where the airbox used to be. Maybe that will help. Dennis

Sad to see you go to a tricycle, Jake... But it does a hell of a wheelie.

Re: scooter
I absolutely love the whole nod/smile/horn thing. I think I'll give it a whirl, and add a wink of the eye too. Who knows, it just might be the charm that's needed. I'll let you know the results,

Blow-by mess
I've fitted individual air filters on each carb, so the hose that lead to the airbox (which no longer exists) from the crankcase has been cut short and fitted with a neat little K&N filter. The set up

My wife rides a Kymco People 150 scooter that she really likes, and I can see why. Sometimes if I want to run an errand in town and don't feel like firing up the VStrom, I'll borrow her scooter, and
