Re: Henderson
From what I understand, the weakness of the Henderson was cooling of the middle two cylinders. Didn't spot a radiator on the Indian. Does it have the some problem??

Carb Problem
My 2000 W650 was running poorly for several months. Engine would
break up on light acceleration or when engine/weather was cold.
Engine started & idled fine and was good on heavy throttle.

Re: Henderson
Floyd Clymer, former Indian Dealership owner, former editor of CYCLE magazine, and owner to the rights to Indian motorcycle name in the 70s did put his name plates on some Enfields and some some

Re: NWC: Military Sachs Hercules
it is a 125cc but it certainly went well; it passed us soon after we
set off home (we were in the van!)
Can't view your attachment. If you post it in the temp photos section
maybe I can shed some

Re: Henderson
My first single "real" motorcycle that started my love for singles was a 1948 AJS (48/18-5809-B ) It should have had an advance lever but it had a Matchless magneto that origionally had acentrifugal

Actually I do like 'em, I just appreciated the comment which was actually made about a 911.
My local racing car restorer had one in recently. Pretty, but evil handling and surprisingly slow.

Too bad that silver thing is blocking the view. ;->
drool drool... I was looking at one of those in the early 80s, but it cost $7,000. Had to pass.

Re: [NHC] vintage track tire suggestions?
A 110/90/18 is basically the same as a 4.00/90. The TT100/K81 is still available in the UK in 4.00/18 but I'd definately put a BT45 110/90/18 on the back...or a 120/90 if the 110 was hard to get.
