Selling my W - looking for advice

Hey folks,

As much as I hate to do it, I'm selling my W - I've had some great years with it and I love the bike, but there isn't enough room in the garage and with three bikes I'm not riding the W as much as I should be. Time for it to go to someone else who will love it and ride it like it deserves.

So... I put an ad on Craigslist about a week ago and got one response. He asked if it had ever been dumped, and I was honest and told him that it took one stationary fall. I also told him that it landed on my leg so there was very little damage, and the parts that were scraped up (mirror, gear shift, clutch lever, and front turn signal lens) were replaced with Kawasaki OEM parts. Never heard back from him...

I did price the bike at the top of what I think is reasonable ($5,400) for a bike with 22.5K miles and some bolt-on modifications. I'm really kind of surprised by the lack of response and I'm wondering what you guys think. Did I price it too high? Is it the mileage or the customizations (I have all the stock parts and they are included in the sale)?

I know the answer should be: KEEP IT! But I've made the decision to let it go. I would be very interested in what you guys think, and I'm also wondering if I should just bag Craigslist and try an Ebay auction. I've never sold a bike on Ebay and I really don't want to hassle with shipping, but I'll do it if it helps move the bike. Any words of wisdom on selling a bike through Ebay?

The Craiglist listing it here:

Oh, and if you all know anyone that's looking.... ?:-)

The other thing about selling the bike is that I'll really miss this group. I've learned a lot over the years. Thanks in advance for any help or tips.
