That is exactly why I enjoy them. I prefer to spend my spare time riding my bikes not tinkering with them.
having said that I appreciate the fact that many people do get a lot of pleasure from tinkering

I still have more Hondas than you do...love-em all...what I said was, that
Hondas, most Hondas aren't characters like the W is, my CB 900 is a
character only because of that dual range transmission. Doesn't mean that I
don't enjoy it, just that it, like most of my previous Hondas are turn key
and go vehicles with little tinkering required.
