Ed,
I just got back to email. Did you check over the group's settings? This would be under ADMIN, SETTINGS, FEATURES. there's a "files" section with a check box for allow photos in files. Above that check box, there's a drop-down list under "Permissions." Without clicking on the down arrow, what does it say in that box? You don't want to see "Files are disabled" there. Even if you did have that there, I think you would not see ANY files or even be able to get to them, but I'm not absolutely certain on that. I think as a group owner you'd see them. If you joined as a regular member with a different email address, if files were turned off, you might not see anything to suggest there are files. Other than that possible place, I don't know why your group doesn't allow you to upload files. I suggest joining the group manager's forum to see if anyone there has something else that might be the problem. The next step after that is to file a bug report. I can help you with that if it comes to this. Paying $220 won't fix the problem, though it would get you access to support since Mark often ignores support requests from free groups. I did check in my group and there definitely is a file upload button.
