Hello Jean Data is typically used on USB. Data would include VARA but is not limited to VARA. Other modes including ARDOP, FT8, WSPR, etc. would also be used on USB. 73 John Denison KD5YOU

Run Windows Key+R mmsys.cpl to bring up the sound control panel. Make sure that the 'default' mic and spkrs are NOT set to whatever audio channels you have associated with your radio interface. Always
