me too it has been years since i played with those old tnc,i have 3 of them and they are all different ,,

i am becoming an old man and it is also becoming harder to play with software too,,,everything is slower ahhh

there is a dog sled race not far away on the other side of the border here in Maine and i think there is 1 or 2 sled with APRS so i thaught i would restart my Igate for fun but man i have lost knowledge ,,of how it works.

And the old Master exec that i am using is getting old too,,it would need some adjustement but i will keep the PA and the PS and scrapped it.i have 2 FT1500 that i will recycled ,

So i will try your command line ,

with Putty the tnc respond no1 but with Uiview normally the Led would flash in front of the tnc when KISS is activated,,but not on mine !! thats what bug me


will see later,,diner time here and my xyl is calling!

Hello Gervais,

It’s been many years since I played with and MFJ TNC, but I think it is as simple as KISS ON and then RESTART if I am not mistaken.
