Your Heavy Weather Pro software needs to create the file. I did briefly look at the HWP manual but did not find the information. However, once the file is created, you will need to know where the file is stored on your hard drive. Then in UI-View, under Setup > Wx Station Setup under the WX data file, you need to enter the path and name for the file create by HWP.

I'm setting up the weather station in ui-view using my LaCrosse ws-2812u-it station. I've used it for years with Heavy Weather Pro but recently lost the hard drive on the computer I was using. I'm now installing on a new computer and ui-view and Heavy weather both working but the wx.txt file called for in the setup is not found. How do I set or create this file?...thank you..wa2nan..Kerry
