I have a registry string that is 1269 & not 1309. I have it on both machines, so I am confident that the 1269 reflects PMSAT 8.0

On my Inspiron 660 I have a value of EEEJELEMEV On my XPS 15 I have no data in the field

Involves PM v9 so I'm not sure if registry workaround works with v8.
Precision Mapping v9 copies and ISOs still float around out there.Shame they don't support anymore, but still very usable for a variety of needs.
