Actually, there is no major problem running UIview on any version of Windows after XP.
The key consideration for Win 7-8-10 (that has been posted many many times on this list) is to not blindly accept the proposed install location during the initial setup.? DO NOT install under the \Program Files location .? Instead, override the proposed path, and enter a location directly of the root of the drive, such as: ?? C:\UIview32
Also, Win 7-8-10 lack the "Winhelp.exe" help file "player" that make UIview's extensive help system inaccessible. ? Winhelp.exe can be restored to these later versions of Windows that lack it, by downloading and installing this file:
