I've created a file called "UI-Path.INI" and placed it in the UI-View
folder on my computer.
The file contains the following text:
W2EV
XXXXX
XXXXX
Yet, I continue to receive the error message. Did I misunderstand
something?

making a UI-Path.INI file on Notepad with my callsign on, followed
by two lines of XXXXX and inserting this in UI-View.
To my amazement it worked, now I have upgraded to v1.5 there
seem to be some extra features, have you made a new help file
for this upgrade? If you have I would appreciate a copy.
