Anzio IABSM book, question, Scenario #14

Dan All Messages By This Member #200421 Hi folks: looking to play Scenario #14: North of Carroceto the book refers to a railroad cutting.? it makes no statement however on how steep it is, if vehicles can enter it or not, etc...? in other scenarios in the book it will say whether a cutting or ravine can be crossed by vehicles. any thoughts on how to play this situation?? rules for tanks going down into or up out of the cutting? thanks, Dan
Michael Reese All Messages By This Member #200422 If you know the location see if the RR or cutting is still there using Google earth. Cuttings implies to me a ditch through a hill too steep or big to go over but not big enough for a tunnel. The area around Anzio was supposed to be recovered swamp so there can't be much high ground. Search for the closest large town. I must presume there is a map reference of some kind. Mike Reese
Dan All Messages By This Member #200432 Thanks. I did find Google Earth and I got a pretty good ideas of general location but the problem is that now the once tiny village of Carrocetto has grown considerably.
